1. MEDICAL REVIEW AUDIT
TDI now requires each IRO to have a Certified Medical Director exam 25% of their cases for a given time period.
Our software displays a list of cases based on your search criteria including a date range. From there it is a simple matter of selecting which cases you want to provide to your medical reviewer. After the cases are approved, the list is updated to display the status. Also, as you select the cases, the percentage selected is displayed at the top, no guessing which cases are eligible for review.
Once selected, the listing can automatically be transmitted to the medical reviewer by email or fax.
To ease the requirement of having a certified medical doctor as part of your team, we maintain their certification information so you can easily use it in your daily activities when required.
2. IRO REVIEWER VERIFICATION
You will have to verify the IRO Reviewer with the Department of Health and Human Services. Our software automatically updates the list provided by the government on a monthly basis. There is nothing you need to do to get the latest listings. All you do is press one button and the IRO Reviewer you have selected for a case is compared to the HHS database.
As an option, we have partnered with Verify Comply to provide automatic notification for the following exclusions in these areas, either for individuals or entities. Simply upload a data feed from our application and run the VC Scan. On a monthly basis, you will automatically receive a detailed report noting any issues.
3. RELATIONAL DATABASE for VERIFICATION
Are your cases in a relational database? The new regulations require all cases submitted to TDI to be so. (Microsoft Excel is not a relational database.)
4. ELECTRONIC AUDITS
Audits will be an electronic audit and approximately 25% of all cases submitted will be audited. The auditor will request a specific case during the audit to see all tasks and when they were completed. We provide detailed information for all tasks associated with each case. Tasks range from opening a case all the way through to submitting it for final review. As a new case is created, a customizable default set of tasks is automatically assigned.
5. SOFT COPY CASE WORK
Cases will not be acceptable if in hardcopy to the TDI. They must be a soft copy, otherwise known as an electronic document.
